About Non-Tertiary Programmes
Takoradi Technical University offers non-tertiary programmes leading to the award of Craft and Technician Certificates. These are practical, skills-based programmes designed for BECE graduates, WASSCE holders and working adults who wish to gain recognised technical qualifications.
Non-tertiary programmes are offered across TTU's technical and vocational faculties. Graduates may use their certificates to gain employment or progress to the HND or B.Tech pathways with additional bridging courses.

Craft Certificate: BECE with at least 6 passes including English Language and Mathematics
Technician Certificate: WASSCE/SSSCE with minimum 5 passes including English and Maths
Applicants with relevant trade qualifications or work experience considered
Age: Minimum 16 years at time of application
Medical fitness certificate may be required for some programmes
Aptitude test / practical assessment for shortlisted candidates
